Visa & Passport:

Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended departure date and has sufficient blank pages. Most nationalities require a visa for Tanzania, which can often be obtained online as an e-Visa prior to arrival. Check specific requirements for your nationality.

Packing Essentials:

Opt for comfortable, lightweight clothing in neutral colors (khaki, olive, brown, grey) to blend with the environment and deter tsetse flies. Bring layers for fluctuating temperatures, a wide-brimmed hat, good quality sunglasses, high-SPF sunscreen, insect repellent, and comfortable closed-toe shoes. Refer to our detailed “Safari Checklist & Packing” page for a comprehensive guide.

Photography:

Bring a camera with a good zoom lens (200-300mm or more recommended for wildlife), extra batteries, and plenty of memory cards. Binoculars are essential for close-up viewing.

Respectful Tourism:

We encourage respectful interaction with local communities and adherence to park rules, such as maintaining a safe distance from wildlife and not littering.

While we plan meticulously, the wild is unpredictable. Be open to minor itinerary adjustments that our guides may suggest to maximize game viewing opportunities or ensure safety.
